En 2021, les Dialogues en humanité invitent les jeunes à prendre la parole. Acteurs du monde de demain, ils sont trop souvent absents des espaces de discussion.

En 2021, les Dialogues en humanité ouvrent la voie à ceux qui portent l'avenir. Alors, si tu as moins de 25 ans, tes idées, ta créativité, tes valeurs, ton énergie sont les clefs de la construction d'un monde meilleur. Nous mettons à ta disposition un espace de dialogues et d'échanges bienveillants, de co-construction et d'expérimentation, ouvert au monde entier et à toutes les voix.

Le début de l'été 2021 sera marqué par le retour d'un festival citoyen cosmopolite et humain, attendu par des milliers de visiteurs de tous les continents.

Depuis 2003, les Dialogues en humanité ont pour ambition de faire se rencontrer des individus qui n'ont pas l'habitude de se côtoyer. D'après Albert Camus : “Mal nommer les choses, c'est ajouter du malheur au monde ”. Aujourd'hui, notre société est minée par une mécommunication qui mène à des malentendus, des procès d'intention, des manipulations et violences envenimant nos vies.

L'enjeu des Dialogues en humanité est de réapprendre à échanger sereinement les uns avec les autres. Sortir de l'affrontement est une réelle priorité. Nous avons besoin d'un espace où chacun est libre d'écouter et d'exprimer son point de vue, afin de nous enrichir individuellement et collectivement. Les Dialogues en humanité proposent des activités variées : agoras, ateliers, créations artistiques, etc. Les agoras, marque de fabrique des Dialogues, sont des discussions ouvertes à tous sur des sujets variés. Elles ont pour spécificité la pratique d'une écoute active et bienveillante. Le temps de parole est distribué équitablement entre tous les participants qui s'expriment sur un pied d'égalité.

La forme des Dialogues de cette année est encore incertaine, cependant nous travaillons activement pour proposer un événement qui favorise au mieux les relations humaines. L'hypothèse la plus vraisemblable est un événement hybride entre présentiel et virtuel.

Les jeunes et les enfants ont un point de vue intéressant et tout aussi légitime que celui des adultes. De quoi ont-ils besoin pour l'avenir ? Il est temps d'écouter ce qu'ils ont à dire.

Par ailleurs, la plupart des grandes habitudes de nos vies s'ancrent à l'adolescence. Le fait de ne pas tenir compte des prochaines générations dans les décisions politiques a des conséquences sur la cohésion sociale et l'harmonie écologique. À ce manque de considération s'ajoutent des angoisses et des situations de précarité dues à la pandémie mondiale et à des risques climatiques. Il émerge donc un réel besoin de la part des jeunes de s'exprimer et d'agir. Pour anticiper un futur inconnu, chacun devrait pouvoir donner sa voix et ses actions pour créer un monde plus juste et solidaire.

- t'offrir l'opportunité d'être écouté et entendu

- te permettre de co-réaliser un projet concret, axé sur les enjeux qui te concernent,

- te mettre en connexion avec le vaste réseau des Dialogues en humanité.

Les Dialogues sont déjà en relation avec certains porteurs de projets en cours, qui peuvent te concerner. De sont des propositions qui attendent ta participation créatrices et novatrice.

La nuit est belle !

La nuit du 21 mai 2021, des communes de Genève et peut-être de Lyon et leurs magasins n'allumeront pas leurs éclairages pour nous offrir la chance d'observer les étoiles. Cette initiative Genevoise portée par les astrophysiciennes de Lyon souhaite lutter contre la pollution lumineuse, sauvegarder la santé humaine et la biodiversité nocturne. Et tout devient possible: découvertes des animaux de la nuit, balades au clair de lune, initiation à l'astronomie, etc. Serons nous capables d'éteindre les lumières pour rallumer les étoiles ?

La fresque des médias et de l'information

Sur le principe des fresques du climat qui rencontrent déjà un grand succès, Les Cités d'Or et Be. my media proposent des ateliers de sensibilisation à l'information. Comment s'informer? Comment repérer les fake news? Des questions auxquelles ces jeunes tentent de répondre lors d'ateliers d'intelligence collective. Alors pour sortir de la désinformation, développe ton discernement, ton esprit critique et exerce ta liberté d'opinion et d'expression.

La programmation reste à construire grâce à vos propositions de coopération.

L'objectif est d'offrir aux jeunes une plateforme, un terrain de jeu dont ils vont s'emparer.

Caring for each human being

In 2021 the Dialogues for humanity are giving a voice to young people.
Although the young are the players in tomorrow’s world they are often excluded from public debate. This year, the Dialogues are opening new prospects for them.

If you are under 25, your ideas, your creativity, your values are key to ushering in a better world. This is your opportunity to engage in caring dialogue, co-construction and other experiments open to all voices across the world.

In the early summer of 2021, our eagerly awaited international citizen event will be back with its thousands of participants from all continents.
Since 2003 the aim of the Dialogues has been to give drivers of solutions who would not otherwise meet an opportunity to get together.
Albert Camus once wrote that “failing to name things properly adds to the world’s misery”. This is what we are witnessing today with miscommunication and all its attendant misunderstandings, manipulations and violence undermining our society.
The Dialogues for humanity aim to re-establish peaceful communication. Non-confrontational dialogue is our priority, offering a platform where we can both listen and voice our ideas for our individual and collective enrichment.
The Dialogues offer a range of activities : agoras (forums), workshops, artistic performances and more. In the agoras, the Dialogues’ signature feature, people are seated in a circle and the speaker’s staff is passed around freely. Active and kind listening is the rule. All participants are on
an equal footing and speaking time is allocated equitably between all those who wish to voice their views.

The format of this year’s Dialogues is still uncertain but we will strive to put together an event that will be as beneficial as possible to human relationships. Most likely, it will be a combination of virtual and face to face activities, taking place on 2 nd , 3 rd , and 4 th July.

Young people and children have a point of view that is in every way as interesting and as legitimate as that of adults. It is high time we listened to their view of what they need for their future.

Most of our main habits in life develop during our teenage years. Failing to take into account future generations when making political decisions is detrimental to social cohesion and environmental harmony. Added to this lack of concern are all the anguish and precariousness induced by the pandemic and climate hazards, hence the need for young people to voice their views and take action. To plan for the future, everybody should be able to express themselves and act towards more fairness and solidarity in our world.

We propose to give you and other young people under 25 an opportunity :
- to be listened to and heard
- to co-implement a concrete project based on the issues that concern you
- to connect with the Dialogues’ extensive network. ====

The night is beautiful ! Watching the starlight in Lyon ?

During the night of May 21 st 2021 Greater Geneva and its shops – and perhaps Lyon too – have decided not to turn on their lights so that people get a chance to gaze at the stars. This Geneva initiative, promoted in Lyon by two women astrophysicists, aims to fight against
light pollution in order to protect human health and nocturnal biodiversity, opening up endless possibilities, such as discovering nocturnal animal species, going on moonlit walks, learning about astronomy, etc.

Will we be able to turn off the lights in order to turn on the stars?

The media and information fresco

Inspired by the success of the Climate Frescoes, Les Cités d’Or and Be.my media offer media awareness workshops. The issues of reliable information and spotting fake news are discussed in collective intelligence workshops. To steer clear of disinformation, you have to hone your judgment, your critical thinking and use your freedom of speech.

The programme will be based on your proposals.

The idea is to provide you and other young people under 25 with a platform, a playground that will be all yours. You will share your ideas and create your very own event, a festival by and for the young.
